GAZ coilovers (damping and height adjustable) I’ve not gone mad with the tucking, I’ve just used my imagination and it looks very clean. Engine bay is all original, and albeit not repainted has come up very well after a few hours spent on it. Injector loom extended and tucked (soldered), fusebox relocated to rear sub frame, resistor box relocated to sub frame, loom relocated from shocker tops to rear of engine. The exhaust is very loud, reminds me of my 5Zigen Fireball, but with the bung it goes very quiet. The header is the very sought after JDM ITR 4-1 which is pretty much on a par with the Toda header, it has a 2.5” collector and the exhaust has been altered to suit this. It has a fresh change of Landrover MTF94 gear oil in there. Gearbox is a stock Y2, it has no crunches or whining at any revs. Even after this mileage the oil is still golden. Replacement power steering rack fitted since old one was still leaking after rack end boot changeĪ/C removed, but pipes still coming out of bulkhead in case you wanted to refitĮngine is one of the best I’ve driven, doesn’t smoke at all and hasn’t used any oil in the 1200km I’ve done in it. Plastics came from Gizmo (I think), new heater controls, new cluster surround (old one had holes), OEM space saver and tool kit from my mates EF8, parcel shelf from a VT (same as SiR), new handbrake fitted as old one had this stupid drift button mechanism, drivers electric window never worked, so we found the break in the big plug that goes into the door and re-pinned it, brake light switch was broken above the pedal so I fitted a working one, fitted a boot carpet, replaced the broken Razo gear knob for a nice OEM one etc. I’ve basically sourced and refitted a complete EF9 interior back into this car. Mileage just short of 120000 km (74500 miles) So many days and late nights of blood and sweat gone into it. I have fully restored the car, there is hardly anything I haven’t changed on the car. Very reluctantly I am offering this stunning Honda Civic EF9 SiR for sale. Have a good read through it, it's a very thorough advert.
